Missionaries

This year we have local, regional, national, and international missionaries joining our 52nd Annual Missions Conference. Here's a great opportunity to get to know them a little better before the conference:

Steve & Barb Swanson

imageSteve and Barb are currently in transition from their years of ministry and life in Antwerp, Belgium to their new new home and life and ministry in Malmö, Sweden.

They will hosting TRIVIA NIGHT on Saturday, March 11; speaking Sunday morning, sharing pictures at our SOUP & SANDWICHES lunch after Morning Worship, and speaking with the Teens in the evening on Sunday, March 12; and finally they will be part of the COFFEE TIME on Monday, March 13.

Gene & Inga Whitehead

imageGene & Inga Whitehead serve through Greater Europe Mission and are working on raising the remainder of their support so they can return to Sweden. They will work with the existing church in Sweden to bring a conviction for God's Word, providing church development and discipleship.

Gene and Inga will be speaking during the 9 am SUNDAY SCHOOL hour on Sunday, March 12 and they will be part of the COFFEE TIME on Monday, March 13. Igna will be sharing at 6:30 at the WOMEN GROWING TOGETHER on Monday, March 13.

Jenifer DeCastro

imageJenifer DeCastro began as a volunteer with Merge Ministries in 1995, her first year as a youth pastor at a Covenant Church. She currently resides in Owasso, Oklahoma with her husband Rudel and three children, Kelsey, Riley and Grace. She began her position as the USA Trip Facilitator for Covenant Merge Ministries in 2011.

Jen will be sharing at the COFFEE TIME at 9 am on Friday, March 17 and will be part of the BRUNCH & PRAYER starting at 9 am on Saturday March 18.

Jay Christianson

imageJay serves as a Regional Representative for Bridges for Peace. His passion for Hebraic Roots has made him a teacher, speaker, tour leader, Jewish-Christian dialogue participant, and outspoken advocate for Israel. He is known for his work in interfaith understanding between Christians and Jews.

Jay will be hosting the SABBATH CELEBRATION at 7 pm on Friday March 17; will be part of the BRUNCH & PRAYER starting at 9 am on Saturday, March 18; and speaking during the 9 am and 10:30 am Sunday School times on Sunday, March 19.

Kirsten Wagenius

image Kirsten serves a Graduate and Faculty Minister with InterVarsity on the campus of St. Cloud State University. Her hope is to see faculty and students pursue a relationship with Jesus and each other, and broaden their reach on campus and in the community. She is also a licensed minister and received a commission to ministries of administration and leadership through the Evangelical Covenant Church in 2002.

Kirsten will be part of the BRUNCH & PRAYER starting at 9 am on Saturday, March 18; and speaking during the 9 am Sunday School on Sunday, March 19.
