World Missions
Beginning in 1966 our church had elected a Missions Committee to act as a liaison between the congregation and the missionaries whom we support. It has been active ever since. This shows that this church believes in the “Great Commission” and supporting missionaries.
In 2006-2007, we sent support to thirty-four missionaries, (26 couples and 8 singles) and three mission groups. For 2007- 2008, we support a total of thirty-seven, with a budget of $73,776.
Honduras Outreach Team
The Honduras Outreach Team travels yearly with Dr. Jim Davey to Honduras to help meet the needs of the Hondurans. The team builds homes, sees eye & dental patients, holds a lice removal clinic and organizes games and children’s ministries. Contact Lori—278.4244.
Baby Bag Seamstresses
Baby Bag Seamstresses sew much-needed baby bags for the Honduran mothers. Included in the bags are layettes for the new babies. Contact Jean—283.3630.
WM Bandage Rolling
WM Bandage Rolling meets the first Monday of the month at 9:00 am to cut & roll bandages for 3rd world country medical clinics. Contact Arlene—283.3633.
