Church Library

Our church library offers thousands of titles in several genres. From contemporary fiction to self-help--there is something for everyone. DVD's are also available for check out. Contact Carol—286.5514

Community Clothes Closet

Churches of the area come together to provide clothing at no charge to those in need in our community. Volunteer one Wednesday or Thursday a month to serve at the Community Clothes Closet at St. Thomas Catholic Church. Contact Mary—283-3365

Community Leaf Pick Up

Adults, teens, seniors and children all pitch in to pick up bagged leaves members of the community leave curbside, and take them to the landfill. Contact Chad—285.7087

Food Shelf

Non-perishable food items are collected weekly and brought to the food shelf. Twice per year we make a significant effort to collect food. Last year, over 3,500 pounds were collected for area food shelves. Contact Lila—283.2400

Funeral Ministry

Luncheons are prepared and served following the funeral for all those suffering the loss of a loved one. Contact Gladys—285.7216

Highway Clean Up

The whole church body comes together and cleans up a section of highway each spring. Contact Tom—283.4332

Learning Tree

We are dedicated to making the first day of school an exciting event for children in need by sponsoring the Learning Tree. Tags specifying school supplies and clothing needs of participating children are displayed in various areas throughout the community during the first two weeks in August. Shoppers will choose a tag, and purchase requested items. Names are not listed on the tags so confidentiality is maintained. Once all items are collected, families will be contacted to pick up their school supplies before the first day of school. Contact Joe—283-3365

Military Prayer Bulletin Board

A Military Prayer Bulletin Board is maintained as a reminder of local men & women in the military, so that we may pray for them, write to them and support their families in their time of service. Contact Mary—286.5801.

Nursing Home Serving

The members of the church serve dessert each Tuesday for 2 months of the year at Falls Good Samaritan Center. Contact Gladys—285.7216

Operation Christmas Child

Each year, we participated in Samaritan's Purse's Operation Christmas Child shoe box drive. Last year over 110 boxes filled with toys, school supplies, and personal care products for children living in disadvantaged areas. Contact Punky—286.5711.

Transportation

Transportation is available for those who cannot drive to church for church services or 55+ events. If a ride is needed, contact Howard—283.2686.
