Ministries for Adults
Our adult ministries can be broken up into four different categories. Choose a category below to find out how you can get connected.
Classes
Throughout the year, classes are held each Sunday morning during the Sunday School hour at 9:30am. These classes offer a great opportunity to look at a particular topic or passage in-depth, and get to know others. Here's a listing of current classes:
- Bible Chronology
Led by Steve Sinclair, we will go through the Bible from cover to cover on a quick tour.
Groups
Groups are a great way to get connected with other believers...
55+
55+ meets twice monthly for events for those 55 and older. Potlucks, fall leaf tour, monthly coffee times, concerts, special speakers on topics pertinent to seniors. Times vary. Contact Jim & Betty—285.7215, for more information and to get on the mailing list.
Alpha
Everyone carries around questions...often related to faith and destiny. The Alpha course was designed and is continually being enhanced so that every person can find a "safe place" to explore the questions of life. A new class starts Sunday, January 13 from 5:30-8:15pm
The ten-week Alpha course is...
- filled with great meals;
- spiritual truth explained clearly so that meaningful faith can grow;
- thought-provoking discussion that welcomes all opinions & respects the pace of each participant;
- an opportunity to find genuine friendships; and a journey that engages both the head and the heart!

Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery is held Monday evenings at 7:00pm for those struggling with hurts, habits or hang ups that keep them from living a life of freedom.
Only two things are needed for someone to start recovery—a desire to stop living in the past, and a desire to start living in the truth. As we work through the Christ-based 12 steps, we become willing to accept God's grace and forgiveness in solving our life's problems. Contact Gary—875.2323.
Small Groups
Home Small Groups are held Sunday evenings throughout the fall & winter. There are several small groups that meet and cover a diverse group of topics. Contact the Church office—283.3365 for more information.
Men
Men's Fraternity
Men's Fraternity meets weekly on Tuesdays at 5:50-7:15 am in the Family Life Center. Men's Fraternity provides men with an encouraging process that teaches them how to live lives of authentic manhood as modeled by Jesus Christ and directed by the Word of God. Contact Dale—283.9513.
