Ryan Sarenpa, Interim Pastor
Ryan started as the full-time Interim Pastor on July 1st. He has been a Covenant Minister for 11 years, with prior experience as an Army Chaplain as well as a pastor.
He graduated from Bethel Seminary in 1999 with his Masters of Divinity and has been a member of the Army National Guard for 25 years.
He has been married to Clarissa for 14 years and they have 5 children – Hannah (12), Anders (11), Levi (8), Harmony (5) and Zion (1). Ryan loves being a pastor, enjoys the fellowship of his family, and likes to golf, fish, and exercise.
Ryan is usually at the office Monday through Thursday, and he welcomes phone calls and visits.
JC Barber, Interim Youth Pastor
JC began as the full time Interim Youth Pastor on August 22nd.
He graduated from North Park University with a Bachelors Degree in Biblical Theological Studies in 2009 and is currently attending seminary at North Park Theological Seminary.
JC has been married to his wife, Bee, for just over a year. He enjoys music, The Red Sox, cooking and hanging out with students.
JC is usually in the office Monday through Friday and loves company.
Mary Boyum, Administrative Secretary
Mary joined the staff at ECC as Administrative Secretary in 1999.
She has been married to Dale for 30 years and has 3 children- Paul (28), Jenna (26) and Paige (18). Mary enjoys serving as an Apples of Gold mentor and extending hospitality.
Her hobbies include greeting card creating, walking, home-making, reading and spending time with her family.
