Darren Olson, Sr. Pastor

Pastor Darren accepted the call for Sr.Pastor in June 2012. He grew up in central Wisconsin (Shawano) on a Christmas tree farm with 3 older brothers and 1 older sister. Darren attended from Bethel Seminary and finished seminary at North Park and was ordained as a Covenant pastor. For the last 11 years, he has served as a lead pastor in Princeton, Minnesota and Moline, Illinois with a brief time in Arizona.

Pastor Darren has been married to his wife, Brenda, for almost 22 years. The Olsons have 5 children who all love Jesus: Nathanael (19), Abby (17) Nehemiah (14) Alethia (12) and Ezra (9). The Olson family moved to International Falls in early August.

Ryan Sarenpa, Associate Pastor

Ryan started as the full-time Interim Pastor on July 1, 2011 and accepted the call for Associate Pastor in June 2012. He has been a Covenant pastor for 11 years, with prior experience as an Army Chaplain as well as a pastor.

He graduated from Bethel Seminary in 1999 with his Masters of Divinity and has been a member of the Army National Guard for 26 years.

He has been married to Clarissa for 17 years and they have 6 children � Hannah (14), Anders (12), Levi (9), Harmony (6) Zion (2) and Alyah (6 mos). Ryan loves being a pastor, enjoys the fellowship of his family, and likes to golf, fish, and exercise.

Ryan is usually at the office Tuesday through Friday, and he welcomes phone calls and visits.

Mary Boyum, Administrative Secretary

Mary joined the staff in 1999.

She has been married to Dale for 32 years and has 3 children- Paul (30), Jenna (27) and Paige (20). Mary enjoys spending time with her family, reading, travel and extending hospitality.

Jen Vollom, Worship Team Leader

Jen joined the staff as Worship Team Leader in 2009.

Jen leads the Worship Team Sunday mornings during the 10:30am Contemporary Service.

She is married to the Worship Team drummer, Tom, and has 4 children- Bailey, Jackson, Tess and Maria. Jen loves serving the Lord with song.

Dave and Jill Austin, Worship Leaders

Dave and Jill have been leading worship in the Traditional Service for over 25 years.

Dave and Jill love to hunt, fish and spend time with family and friends at their cabin on Rainy Lake. Dave and Jill serve in Awana Clubs and yearn to see young hearts grow to love the Lord.

Carol Anderson, Custodian

She is married to Pete and has 2 daughters, Laura and Kate. Carol enjoys time with her grandchildren and time spent at their cabin on Rainy Lake
